What Bandwidth stores

Bandwidth can store your task labels, focus history, shield activity, settings, and reward totals on your device. If you choose email sign-in, Supabase stores your email address and an account identifier so your account can work across devices.

Bandwidth does not sell personal information. The optional coach may process a task or proof through the configured backend; the default coach runs locally. Do not enter sensitive personal, medical, financial, or confidential business information.

Location and notifications

If you choose “Use my city” in The Pack, Bandwidth requests foreground location access once to derive a coarse city or region label. Exact coordinates are discarded and are never stored, synced, or shared. Location is optional.

Focus reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. You can turn them off in You or in system settings.

App blocking (Screen Time)

If you turn on app blocking, Bandwidth uses Apple’s Screen Time (Family Controls) on your device to shield apps during a focus session. This is optional and off by default. The apps you choose are represented by private tokens that stay on your device — Bandwidth never sees, stores, or transmits the list of apps you use.

Sharing and deletion

A data export is created only when you request it and is passed to the system share sheet. Cloud backup is private to your signed-in account. You can export local data or delete your account from You; deletion removes local data and the synced account record when the backend is configured.
